[Student Thirteen's Closest Person]

name: Leith McAllister

age: 24

occupation: Retail Worker

Leith McAllister is the closest person to Student Thirteen, Clementine Foxglove. He is a twenty four year old retail worker who is working towards getting his diploma. From monitoring him, it seems that he dreams of becoming a marine biologist, though that dream doesn't seem entirely feasible right now. He is the roommate of Clementine and the two have a very strong brotherly bond. It seems that growing up on the streets, fighting and clawing their way to a better life together, has forged a strong friendship between the two of them. Leith seems to have a few more friends than our Clementine, though most of them are his co-workers so the bar isn't very high at all, admittedly.

He has been described by loved ones as fiercely defensive, but only because he wants the best for the people he cares about. He's been hardened by his time on the streets and often assumes that most people have bad intentions. Still, he seems to have a lot of room in his heart for those he feels close to and knows he can trust. He's especially protective of Clementine, seeing him as his little brother who he needs to keep on the right track, so to speak. He feels happiest when he's helping and taking care of others, so it's no wonder they get along so well; they're like kindred spirits.

As far as he is concerned, Clementine may have left home to take his own life. He doesn't want to believe that he has succeeded in doing so, but he loses more and more hope each day. Originally, he believed Clementine may have somehow gotten in contact with his father, but when he found him online and reached out to him, his father told him that he hadn't spoken to his son since he left his family behind. Ironically, he only came home for the first time in years after Leith reached out to him, and though he's been trying to help him search for Clementine, they have only come up empty handed. Leith seems to blame himself for Clementine's disappearance and possible death, wishing he had done more to help him. He seems to have a lot of regrets in his life, but none come close to how he feels, thinking that he wasn't able to keep the person that mattered most to him alive.

Luckily, he doesn't seem to pose any risk to our project, as he is slowly beginning to give up on ever finding his best friend. Even if he tried, he'd never be able to find him... Regardless, he isn't much of a concern. Most people wouldn't care about what happens to the riffraff of society, and we're banking on that to keep people from taking his concerns too seriously.

Trigger Warning: Mentions of suicide.
